Punjab Floods: The state is battling with difficult time as it has faced several flood disasters in areas like Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers. The locals of Punjab have been hit badly. Several celebrities have shared their concern about the current situation in the state. Now, Kapil Sharma, who also hails from the state, also shared his concern about the disaster. The comedian stated that he is heartbroken seeing the current devastation. He penned an emotional note for the victims affected by the Punjab floods.
Kapil Sharma tweeted, “Feeling heartbroken seeing my Punjab suffering due to floods My prayers are with all the families affected. We have always stood together in tough times, and I am sure with love and support we will overcome this too. Stay strong, we are with you #PunjabFloods.” Fans have reacted to Sharma’s X. A user said, “Prayers with Punjab.” Another said, “Thank you. So proud of you. United, we stand for our Punjab. #PunjabFloods.” A tweet read, “Kapil Sir, your feelings are truly commendable. Let’s all come together to help the families affected in Punjab. Your support and encouragement mean a lot to people during these difficult times. Stay strong, we are all with you.” Another user wrote, “I pray everything gets normal soon.”

Earlier, Punjabi and Bollywood actor, Ammy Virk tweeted, “Seeing our people without a roof over their heads has left me devastated. In our small effort to bring comfort and stability, we are adopting 200 houses to support those who have lost everything. This is not just about shelter, it’s about giving hope, dignity, and strength to start again.”

Diljit Dosanjh has adopted 10 villages across Gurdaspur and Amritsar in collaboration with NGOs and local authorities. The actor’s team revealed that they are working to provide immediate relief, food, water and medical aid. Other stars including Sonu Sood, Badshah and Sonam Bajwa also shared their concern about the natural calamities in Punjab.
On the work front, Kapil Sharma is currently in the Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show. The third season has been streaming on the OTT platform.
