Raja Shivaji Cast Fees: The highly anticipated historical epic Raja Shivaji is set to be one of the most ambitious cinematic tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh, the film with a massive estimated budget of Rs 100 crore, marks a significant milestone for Marathi and Indian cinema. The film features a powerful blend of talent from both the Marathi and Hindi film industries.

Leading the salary list is Riteish Deshmukh, who is reportedly charging between Rs 15-18 crore for his dual role as the lead actor and director. Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, who portrays antagonist Afzal Khan, has commanded a fee of approximately Rs 8-10 crore. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan, playing an important role is estimated to have received Rs 6-8 crore.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Manjrekar, Genelia Deshmukh, and Bhagyashree round out the primary payroll with salaries ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 3 crore each. Supporting actors such as Amole Gupte, Fardeen Khan, and Jitendra Joshi further strengthen the cast, with fees ranging from Rs 80 lakh to 3 crore.

For Riteish Deshmukh, this film is far more than just a commercial venture. Upon releasing the grand teaser, which has already sparked immense excitement among fans, the actor-director shared his emotional connection to the role. He wrote, "A decade-long dream to pay tribute to India’s greatest warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj… He isn’t just a king, he is our identity."

The film aims for historical authenticity, using grand visuals and emotional storytelling to depict the life of the legendary warrior king. Raja Shivaji is scheduled to hit theatres on May 1, 2026.
