Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of much anticipated movie of the year Coolie. Fans across the nation are quite excited to watch the movie on big screens. Recently, there have been reports that Aamir Khan has a crucial role in Coolie, which is a cameo. As per a report by Pinkvilla, the Bollywood star is set to appear in the climax scene of the movie. In the last 15 minutes of Coolie, Aamir Khan will have ‘high octane face off’ with Rajinikanth in Coolie. The reports further suggested that it will be one of the most thrilling sequences in recent times.

A source told the portal, “The two icons will share screen space in a mass-loaded face-off, filled with intense dialogues and gripping action.” Coolie has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is the first collaboration with the South legendary actor Rajinikanth. The filmmaker earlier clarified that the movie will not be part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). It also features big stars like Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy and Kaali Venkat in significant roles. The movie has been produced by Kalanithi Maran. According to reports, the 2025 movie Coolie has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore. It is set to release in theatres on August 14, this year on the occasion of the Independence Day holiday. Several posters of the movie featuring Rajinikanth has been shared on social media by the makers.

The first single Chikitu, has been launched recently. It has been sung by T Rajhendherr, Anirudh Ravichander and Arivu and composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Coming back to Aamir Khan, the actor is currently enjoying the success of Sitaare Zameen Par. The movie also features Genelia Deshmukh, Simran Mangeshkar, Gopi Krishnan Varma and Dolly Ahluwalia in key roles. RS Prasanna’s directorial had a box office collection of Rs 82.40 crore in India in just 6 days of release.
