Sivakarthikeyan led Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, is showing in theaters, and viewers are enjoying its action sequences and core value. The Tamil psychological action thriller chronicles the involvement of a Fregoli delusion sufferer in an effort to prevent a North Indian syndicate from spreading firearms throughout Tamil Nadu. Madharaasi has made over Rs 75 crore worldwide, making it a box office success in less than a week. Rajinikanth, the lead actor's idol, recently hailed his performance in the action entertainer.

Sivakarthikeyan's post on X read - "Just received the appreciation for Madharaasi from my idol, my Thalaivar #Superstar Rajinikanth sir. - ‘My god, excellent! Enna performance! Enna actions! Super super SK! Enakku romba pudichirundhadhu. Action hero aagiteenga. God bless, God bless.’ (What a performance, the action, I loved it, and you’ve become an action hero)."

Sivakarthikeyan expressed his admiration for Rajinikanth and wrote, "Heartfelt wishes from my #Thalaivar, along with his trademark laugh. Love you Thalaivaaaaa."

What Is Madharaasi About?

Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead in the Tamil-language psychological action romance thriller Madharaasi. The narrative centers on Raghuram, an orphan who develops feelings for Malathy. But Raghu is upset and tries to kill himself after she ends their relationship. Premnath, an NIA officer, is searching for a civilian to take the lead in a mission against a crime gang without endangering his own teammates. After Malathy meets Raghu and recruits him, things take a turn for the worse when she unintentionally becomes involved in the syndicate's schemes. It becomes clear when mayhem breaks out that Raghu has a mental illness that causes him to lose self-control.

Madharaasi also has important roles for Monisha Vijay, Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prem Kumar, Sanjay, Sachana Namidass, and numerous others apart from the main cast.

Sivakarthikeyan will appear in Parasakthi next. The film, which was written and directed by Sudha Kongara of Soorarai Pottru fame, is billed as a political period drama. Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa play important roles in the film.
