Legendary Indian actor Rajinikanth turned 75 today (December 12). The actor is celebrated for his unique style, charisma and iconic roles. Even at this age, his screen presence and popularity are unmatchable and fans love to worship him on every opportunity. To celebrate this big milestone of Thalaiva, several prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as celebrities like Dhanush, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and others, took to social media and shared some beautiful and heartwarming wishes for him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi penned down a heartwarming message that read, "Greetings to Thiru Rajinikanth Ji on the special occasion of his 75th birthday. His performances have captivated generations and have earned extensive admiration. His body of work spans diverse roles and genres, consistently setting benchmarks. This year has been notable because he completed 50 years in the world of films. Praying for his long and healthy life."

Rajinikanth’s former son-in-law, Dhanush, also wishesd him and wrote, “Happy birthday thalaiva @rajinikanth.”

Tamil actor Kamal Haasan also shared a throwback picture with 'Friend' Rajinikanth and wrote, "75 years of a remarkable life. 50 years of legendary cinema. Happy birthday, my friend @rajinikanth."

Mohanlal also took to X to wish the legendary star and wrote, "Warmest birthday wishes to dear Rajinikanth Sir. As you celebrate 50 remarkable years in cinema, thank you for inspiring generations with your values, strength, and extraordinary spirit. May God bless you always with peace, good health, and boundless joy @rajinikanth."

Actress BhagyashreeBorse also wished Rajinikanth and tweeted, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY THALAIVA. The PROUD of TAMILNADU #HBDSuperstarRajinikanth."

Legendary star Rajinikanth is an inspiration who rose from the ashes, a common man who thought he would be a bus conductor all his life, but ended up becoming the heart of the Indian film industry. Thalaiva made his debut in a supporting role in the Tamil movie Apoorva Raagangal in 1975. He achieved great critical acclaim for his roles as an antagonist in movies like MoondruMudichu, Avargal, Aadu Puli Attam and many more.

Director S.P. Muthuraman transformed his image from a villain to a positive, stylish hero with the film BhuvanaOruKelvikurri in 1977. Movies like Baashha, Muthu, Chandramukhi and Sivaji: The Boss led him to his blockbuster era. The actor has worked in over 170 films, cementing his legendary status.

Rajinikanth was last seen in the movie Vettaiyan in 2024. He also made a cameo in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's movie Lal Salaam. Currently, he is shooting for his upcoming movie Jailer 2. His fans are excited to see him in a reprised role as 'Tiger'. It is slated to release in 2026.
