Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda remains in critical condition. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali after a serious road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Eight days have passed since the accident, but Rajvir still remains on a ventilator. According to a report in Punjab Kesari, doctors stated that the singer is on a life support. He has suffered serious head and spinal injuries, resulting in organ failure.

There is a risk of organ failure, said the doctor. There were hopes that Rajvir'condition would improve, but that hasn't happened yet. Earlier, it was reported that Jawanda has extensive damage to his cervical and dorsal spine, resulting in profound weakness in all four limbs. Due to the severity of his injuries, he requires prolonged ventilator support. The overall prognosis remains guarded, indicating a cautious outlook for his recovery.

As reported by Patrika, doctors performed an MRI scan of his brain, which showed hypoxic changes, meaning lack of oxygen. Additionally, an MRI of the spinal cord revealed significant damage to the cervical regions, leading to weakness in some of his limbs.

Jawanda was involved in a bike accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, where he collided with stray cattle, leading to severe head and spinal injuries, followed by a cardiac arrest. Since then, several Punjabi artists, including Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal and Ammy Virk, have shared updates and prayers for his speedy recovery. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also visited the hospital, stating that Jawanda's condition is "better than yesterday" but still critical.
