Rakt Brahmand Update: Ali Fazal is gearing up for Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino. He is also set to feature in Raj and DK’s much-awaited series Rakt Bramhand, which went on the floors a few months ago but has been surrounded by a lot of speculation. Among them is a rumour that the web show's shooting has been halted. The Netflix series also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. This project marks the second collaboration of Ali and Aditya after Metro In Dino. Amid the rumours of the show being shelved, Ali Fazal shared an update about Rakt Bramhand. He revealed he knew the show was on hold and that it had been months since he last shot it.

Has Raj and DK’s Rakt Bramhand Been Shelved?

Ali Fazal recently revealed that he is unaware of the reason behind the show being on hold. In an interview with Mid-Day, the actor said, “I know the show was on hold. Adi [Aditya] and I were doing it together. We met now again during Metro... In Dino’s promotions. It has been a couple of months since I last shot for it. Then I had to cut my hair because I had to shoot for something else.”

It seems like Raj and DK are focusing on their other project Family Man 3. However, there is no official confirmation about Rakt Bramhand being shelved or not yet.

For the show, Ali has reportedly undergone intense training for the action sequences, He has learned Jujutsu, a Japanese martial art, under the guidance of Italian expert and black belt Umberto Barbagallo.

About Rakt Brahmand The Bloody Kingdom: Raj and DK are developing the project, with Rahi Anil Barve, known for Tumbbad, taking the helm as director of the series. The action fantasy series will premiere on Netflix. The show also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat and others.

Talking about Ali Fazal's upcoming movie, Metro In Dino, is set to hit theatres on July 4, 2025. The film which is helmed by Anurag Basu, also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The series explores the complexities of modern relationships, delving into the multifaceted nature of love with all its joys, sorrows, and nuances.
