Rana Daggubati, according to a report in Telugu Chitraalu, has been seen arriving and leaving the film’s shooting location. While the makers have not confirmed his role yet, his presence on the set strongly hints that he’s part of the project. This has raised curiosity among fans, especially since Rana is known for picking powerful, impactful characters. Earlier, Malayalam actor and director Basil Joseph, known for directing Minnal Murali, was also seen on the sets, sparking speculation about a possible cameo or collaboration. Meanwhile, director Sudha Kongara recently opened up about her reasons for choosing Sivakarthikeyan as the lead in Parasakthi. Speaking at a Galatta event, she said, “Siva is definitely the right actor who suits the character. His boy-next-door looks, honesty, and sincerity match exactly what I needed for this role. These are the qualities that define the hero of this story.” Sivakarthikeyan, who has steadily grown from a TV presenter to a bankable lead actor, is now stepping into a more serious, dramatic role something fans are eager to witness.

There’s been buzz that Parasakthi may clash at the box office with Thalapathy Vijay’s much-hyped film Jana Nayagan. While Vijay’s movie is already set for a January 9, 2026 release, coinciding with Pongal week, Sudha Kongara clarified that no release date has been finalised for Parasakthi yet. “It’s the producer’s decision. I don’t know if we will release together,” she said, choosing not to fuel any rivalry between the two big films. Parasakthi is expected to aim for a Pongal 2026 release, but official confirmation is awaited.

On the work front, Rana Daggubati was last seen in Rana Naidu Season 2, the Indian version of the hit American series Ray Donovan.
