Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone made a striking appearance at the Swadesh store in Mumbai on Friday. The couple joined the celebrations highlighting the holiday season, India’s craftsmanship and the rich cultural stories behind it. Deepika and Ranveer looked elegant in their ethnic ensembles. Their appearance coincided with the the release of Singh's Dhurandhar which hit the theatres today.

Ranveer opted for a cream sherwani paired with white trousers, while Deepika captivated everyone in a rich Patan Patola double ikat silk saree. The couple arrived hand-in-hand and continued to hold hands as they posed cheerfully for the paparazzi, adding to the charm of their appearance.

Deepika also shared a set of photos on her Instagram handle. She wrote, "Handwoven navratan patan patola by artisan Bhawar Singh, reimagined through Anamika Khanna’s mulmul blooms and a handmade Banaras border — an ode to Swadesh, and a love letter to the artisans who hold our heritage in their hands."

Earlier, in the day, Deepika Padukone reviewed Dhurandhar. Deepika hailed Singh's performance in the film and also congratulated the entire star cast and crew. Padukone wrote on her IG Story, "Dhurandhar has been watched, and it is worth every minute of those 3.34 hours. So do yourself a favour and get to a cinema hall NOW! So incredibly proud of you @ranveersingh! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew."

Deepika shared glimpses of what she wore at the screening of Dhurandhar. The Padmaavat actress looked chic in a black-coloured buttoned crop blazer, which she styled with a pair of denim and black heels. Sharing the photos, Deepika wrote in the caption, "Date Night at the Movies! #Dhurandhar."
