Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 Transformation Goes Viral; Homi Adajania Teases New DOP In BTS Pic From Set

Cocktail 2 Update: Rashmika Mandanna is on a roll; she has been creating quite a buzz with her upcoming projects. She has set the internet ablaze with her new look from Cocktail 2. A spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit, the film stars Rashmika alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon and is directed by Homi Adajania. The director teased everyone with a BTS photo from the sets of Cocktail 2, with an epic caption introducing the new DoP. Rashmika's look instantly went viral and spread widely across social media.

Taking to Instagram stories, Homi Adajania shared a fun photo of Rashmika from the sets. She looks stylish as she poses as the Director of Photography (DoP). Rashmika flaunts her smile and wavy hair. Sharing the photo, Homi wrote, "New DoP on #Cocktail2 #santhajunior, rashmika mandanna Gsantha_dop."

Earlier, Homi also shared a glimpse of Shahid Kapoor from his gym session as he prepares to transform for his character in Cocktail 2.

Cocktail 2 Update

The team has completed the Europe shooting schedule, and the next schedule was supposed to take place in New Delhi. However, it was cancelled following the recent blast near the Red Fort. Another reason for the delay is air pollution in the city. The Cocktail team was initially expected to begin the Delhi schedule on November 12 and shoot across the city for about a week, but plans have changed. While plot and other details remain under wraps, the makers are reportedly eyeing a theatrical release in the second half of 2026.

Recently, Shahid was spotted at Delhi airport as he walked the ramp as a showstopper alongside Tamannaah Bhatia for celebrity fashion designers duo Falguni and Shane Peacock's Futureverse of Fashion event by FDCI.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika is currently basking in the success of her latest release, The Girlfriend. The Telugu romantic drama also stars Dheekshith Shetty, Anu Emmanuel, Rao Ramesh, and Rohini alongside her. The film is directed by Rahul Ravindran.
