Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been making headlines for quite some time now about their wedding rumours. In October, reports of the duo getting engaged in a private ceremony at Deverakonda’s residence surfaced online. This was followed by rumours claiming that Rashmika and Vijay will tie the knot in Udaipur in February 2026. Amid this, the actors' recent presence at the success event of Rashmika's movie, The Girlfriend, has fueled the speculations about them. Following the viral moment where Vijay planted a kiss on her hand, Rashmika's words praising him, calling him a 'blessing' have grabbed even more attention.

Rashmika Hopes 'Everyone Has A Vijay Deverakonda In Their Lives'

Several videos of Rashmika and Vijay from The Girlfriend event have surfaced online. In one clip, Rashmika can be seen showering her love on her Dear Comrade co-star. Calling him by his nickname, Rashmika said, "Viju, you've been a part of this film since the beginning. You're also a part of the success. You have been a part of this whole journey personally." Visibly blushing, the actress added, "I hope everyone has a Vijay Deverakonda in their lives because that's a blessing."

In a video shared by the film's production house, Geetha Arts on X, Vijay Deverakonda was also seen praising Rashmika and her work. The Kingdom actor was heard saying, "The woman she has become today, who decides to pick up a script like this. At the peak of her career, she decides to tell a story. She wasn't sure how many people would come to see the film, but she wanted to bring forward a story that would mean a lot to many people. Russie, I am so proud of your journey, of everything you have become, of the woman you are."

The PDA moment between Rashmika and Vijay has become the most-talked-about topic on social media. A clip from the event captured Vijay, who was interacting with the other guests, greeting Rashmika when he noticed her. After shaking hands, he planted a kiss on her hand, leaving her blusing and fans in awe. This moment has further fuelled their wedding rumours.

As per several reports, the actors got engaged in a private ceremony attended by both families. Following that, Vijay made his first appearance wearing a ring, adding to the ongoing specualtions. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Vijay or Rashmika regarding their engagement or wedding.
