Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana’s first title glimpse has created waves of excitement among netizens. The makers dropped the video on their Instagram handle and captioned it, “Ten years of Aspiration. Relentless Conviction to bring the Greatest Epic of all time to the World. An outcome through a collaboration of some of the world’s best to ensure that Ramayana is presented with the greatest amount of Reverence and Respect. Welcome to the Beginning. Let’s Celebrate the IMMORTAL story of Rama v/s Ravana. Our Truth. Our History.” Sharing his excitement, actor Ravi Dubey, who will be playing the role of Lakshman in the mythological saga, also posted the video, calling this project the greatest honour of his life.

Ravi Dubey’s social media post read, “It’s the greatest honour of my life to be part of a story that has shaped generations. Welcome to the world of Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana, the immortal story of Rama vs Ravana. Grateful to walk this path, and to share it with all of you. Let’s celebrate this moment and together, step into the @worldoframayana. Our Truth. Lately, there have been several speculations about Ravi’s casting in the movie, as there was no official announcement from the makers or the actor himself. But recently, a behind-the-scenes video surfaced online, showing Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey sharing a tight hug during the cake-cutting ceremony for the schedule wrap of the movie.
