KD The Devil (30 April)
Set to be one of the biggest action entertainers of the year, KD: The Devil arrives in theatres this Thursday. Featuring an impressive ensemble cast including Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, and Shilpa Shetty, the film is set against the gritty backdrop of 1970s Bangalore. This Kannada production adopts a stylised period gangster aesthetic, promising high-octane sequences and a powerful narrative. Backed by KVN Productions, the film also features Kichcha Sudeep and Nora Fatehi.
Kara (30 April)
Dhanush returns to the screen with Kara, a thriller set during the tense 1991 Gulf War fuel crisis. The Malayalam film industry is preparing for a massive cinematic event as legends Mammootty and Mohanlal reunite on screen after nearly 18 years. Directed by the acclaimed Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot is a high-budget espionage thriller that has seen significant buzz online. Originally planned for an earlier release, the makers pushed the date to May 1, to ensure a grand theatrical experience.
