Rohit Shetty House Firing Incident: Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Juhu residence was targeted with gunshots late on Saturday night. Following the incident, reports emerged claiming that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for the firing outside the filmmaker's house in Mumbai. Pune Police have also detained five individuals in connection with the firing case. Amid the ongoing investigation, the latest reports suggest that Rohit Shetty has cancelled all his scheduled plans to cooperate with the Mumbai police. He has also reportedly requested his close friends from the industry not to visit him at his home for at least 48 hours.

Rohit Shetty Requests No Visits For Next Days After Firing Incident

After the reported shooting attempt at his house, Rohit Shetty is keeping his public appearances and interactions with outsiders to a minimum. The filmmaker has reportedly asked his close friends, including Ajay Devgn, not visit him.

According to a source quoted by India Today, "Rohit is currently cooperating with the Mumbai police and recording his statement. He is absolutely involved in the investigation. Even though his residence has been given added security, he has asked all his industry friends to not come home. He is attending to all his worried friends and colleagues only via calls and message."

About Rohit Shetty's House Firing Incident

Four gunshots were fired outside the Juhu residence of renowned director Rohit Shetty late on Saturday night. Police officials confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. Following the firing, heavy police deployment was seen in and around the area, with forensic teams arriving to examine the spot and collect evidence.

In a major development, five suspects have reportedly been detained in Pune in connection with the firing. They are reportedly associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the matter, the Mumbai Crime Branch has constituted 12 special teams to track down those involved in the firing case. Meanwhile, the investigation is underway, with police and other officials recording the statements and examining the CCTV footage to determine the motive behind the firing.

Rohit Shetty, known for delivering blockbusters such as Chennai Express, Simmba, Singham and the Golmaal franchise, has yet to issue an official statement regarding the firing case.
