The path to success in the film industry is not straightforward. Many obstacles must be overcome, but those who conquer rarely look back. This is the tale of one such filmmaker, who went from a meagre Rs 35 salary to a net worth of Rs 300 crore. He is one of the most successful directors in the Hindi cinema industry.
The one in the equation is filmmaker Rohit Shetty. He is the son of longtime stuntman and actor MB Shetty. He began his career as an assistant director at the age of 17. He claimed that the director's family experienced severe financial difficulties following his death, which occurred over ten years before.
Rohit Shetty's First Salary
Rohit Shetty was paid barely Rs 35 when he started working with Kuku Kohli. He would frequently walk from his house to the set to save money. Additionally, he revealed that as an assistant on the set, the director would frequently iron the actors' clothes in between the shots.

Rohit Shetty's 100 Crore Streak
Rohit Shetty has directed 16 films since making his feature film debut with Zameen in 2003. Around nine movies of the filmmaker made more than Rs 100 crore, and 12 have been box office blockbusters. He has more films in the 100-crore club than any other Indian director.
Singham 3, which starred Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Rampal, was recently directed by Rohit Shetty. The cop film made over Rs 200 crore net in India and over Rs 300 crore worldwide. It faced off against Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Kartik Aaryan at the box office.
