Jaya Bachchan Viral Video: Jaya Bachchan is no stranger to public criticism for what many describe as her ‘angry-woman’ behaviour during public appearances. Recently, a new controversy erupted after a video surfaced showing her pushing a man inside Parliament, sparking heated discussions on social media. In the viral clip from the Constitution Club in New Delhi, the Samajwadi Party MP was seen reacting angrily when a man attempted to take a selfie with her. Jaya Bachchan in the viral video pushed him away and said, “Kya kar rahe hain aap? (What are you doing?) What is this?" This incident left many people shocked and disappointed, with several accusing her of being rude and disrespectful. Adding fuel to the debate, a video of television actress Rupali Ganguly criticising Jaya Bachchan’s behaviour has been making the rounds online.

Meanwhile, in a now viral clip, Rupali recalled how she once admired Jaya’s work and learnt acting from watching her, but was quick to add that she did not wish to adopt her behavioural traits. Rupali said, “Jaya ji ko dekhkar, unka kaam dekhkar maine acting sikhi thi initial days mein. I hope unse ye bartav na sikhun." The comment has struck a chord with fans, many of whom have voiced their agreement.

Fans Reaction

One fan wrote, “Aisa bartav kisi bhi actress ko nahi karna chahiye, I think so." Another said, “There’s no excuse to be rude." A third fan commented, “Vaise to yah badi hi badtameez hai, tameez naam ki zara se bhi cheez nahin hai ismein. Lekin fir bhi logon ko popular logon ke sath photo kyon leni hoti hai? Kya yah inke rishtedaar hote hain jo hamesha har jagah kabhi selfie lene lagte hain, tabhi photo lene lagte hain? Kyon inko itni importance dete ho? Kab samjhenge bewakoof log, inko itni importance nahin deni hai."

On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan’s behaviour has also drawn criticism from Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who took to Instagram and said, “Most spoilt and privileged woman. People put up with her tantrums/nonsense just because she is Amitabh Bachchan ji’s wife. That Samajwadi topi looks like a rooster comb, while she looks like a fighting cock!! Such disgrace and shame." Additionally, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit also weighed in on Instagram, called the incident “highly condemnable" and accused Jaya of showing “humiliation towards people who have elected her to serve them." He added, “A public servant can’t afford to be sulking and irritated 24×7. One expects humility and compassion from an artist of her calibre who has been loved by her fans, who are responsible for providing her this stature and position."
