Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 1: Mohit Suri’s directorial Saiyaara has been making waves over the internet since its trailer was released. The heartbreaking love story, which made its way to screens on July 18, has now won the hearts of the audience on the opening day. With fresh content, Suri introduced fresh faces to Bollywood- Ahaan Panday and actress Aneet Padda. The two actors have shone in their first movie, as evidenced by the reviews and the box office numbers. Well, they have created a record with the biggest opening for debutants. Seeing the opening day box office, it won’t be wrong to say that Saiyaara is here to rule at the ticket windows in the coming days.

Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 1

As per Sacnilk, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara opened at the box office with Rs 20 crore. The film had an overall 49.90 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. It had 35.51 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 46.62 per cent in the afternoon shows, 50.85 per cent in the evening shows and 66.62 per cent in the night shows.

Saiyaara Budget 

As per reports, the film’s budget is reportedly Rs 30 crore. The movie has already won the 90 per cent battle on its opening day itself.

About Saiyaara

The plot centres on a popular singer who encounters a songwriter. Despite being from opposite worlds, the two fell in love with each other. But as their feelings deepen, circumstances challenge their relationship. Saiyaara stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead roles. It has been directed by Mohit Suri and produced Akshaye Widhani. Faheem Abdullah, Arslan Nizami, Sachet–Parampara, Mithoon, Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra are the music directors of the film. Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, director Mohit Suri stated that Saiyaara was initially called Aashiqui 3. The filmmaker said, “To be honest, they had pitched me to come up with a draft for Aashiqui 3 in the beginning. At that time, Mukesh ji and Bhushan were on better terms. I know, they have a very sensitive relationship. They are friends at times, and then they are not. So, I thought of this idea for Aashiqui 3, which is now Saiyaara.”
