Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer movie Saiyaara has become a blockbuster within a week of its release. The movie has been breaking several box office records. And now, the musical drama has added another feather to its hat. With the much talked about soundtrack, Saiyaara’s title track has reached the top 10 on Spotify’s Top 50 Global chart, beating the likes of Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga.

Saiyaara’s title track by Tanishk, Farheem and Arslan, Barbaad (Reprise) by Jubin Nautiyal and Shilpa Rao, Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh, Humsafar by Sachet-Parampara and Saiyaara (Reprise) by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have been the talk of the town since the film hit the theatres. On Tuesday evening, all six songs from Saiyaara, composed by Tanishk, Farheem and Arslan, ranked in the top 10 on Spotify’s India Top 50 charts.

And now, taking the movie’s success further, the title track of Saiyaara has ranked at the 8th position in Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart. This is a huge milestone for Bollywood music as it is the first Bollywood song to achieve this feat, though Indian songs like Hanumankind’s Big Dawgs have also featured on the list.

Saiyaara’s title track has managed to leave behind Tyler’s Big Poe, Justin Bieber’s Daisies, Sombr’s Back to Friends, Alex Warren’s Ordinary, Tyler’s Sugar On My Tongue, and BLACKPINK’s Jump. It has also beaten songs by Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather), Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars (Die with a Smile), Sabrina Carpenter (Manchild) and others on the chart.

As soon as the news broke out, Ahaan’s sister Alanna Panday and cousin sister Ananya Panday cheered for his movie’s success and posted the screenshot of their Spotify showing the song in the Top 10.
