Ex-Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover had a face-off with Salman Khan in the weekend ka vaar episode of Bigg Boss 18. Last year, when they met on the show, the superstar called out Grover for making a false statement about him and schooled him. Later, Ashneer slammed Salman for creating a fuss onscreen. Ashneer, who is currently hosting Rise And Fall, shared a screenshot on Instagram stories of getting an offer be a wild card entry in Bigg Boss 19. While reacting to the invitation, he stated that the makers must ask Salman Khan first about the same.

While sharing the screenshot of the Bigg Boss 19 wild card invitation, Ashneer Grover wrote on Instagram, “Haha! Salman bhai se pooch le!! Mai to free ho jaaunga tab tak (Ask Salman Khan. I will get free by then). Yeh ‘mail merge’ kisi ki to naukri khayega :(Check out his Instagram story below!)”

The controversy began when Ashneer Grover, in an earlier interview, claimed that he met the actor during an ad shoot when Salman’s manager told him that the superstar won’t take a photo with him. After this incident, he appeared in Bigg Boss 18 as a guest and Salman Khan grilled him for his statement about him. Khan then asked him to be careful regarding what he says or how he presents himself. The superstar said, “Meeting was not held with you but with your team. Maybe you were also present there. We have not had any discussions. I saw what you said. You presented that we befooled you. This is wrong. Those numbers were wrong.” Ashneer Grover then apologised to Salman Khan and stated that his intention was not to respect him.
