Samay Raina, a popular comedian renowned for his sharp wit and quick comebacks, has been making headlines recently. Raftaar, the Indian rapper who appeared in the Prime Video reality show The Traitors, recently claimed that Samay was slated to join the contestants. This revelation has generated considerable buzz among fans eagerly anticipating Samay Raina’s comeback, especially after the controversy surrounding his popular YouTube show, India’s Got Latent.

Raftaar recently featured in a YouTube vlog by Apoorva Mukhija, a fellow contestant from the show, where they discussed their views on the latest episodes of The Traitors. They were also joined by Samay Raina over a video call. During the conversation, Raftaar told Apoorva, aka The Rebel Kid, “Arey, by the way, yeh bhi aane wala tha show pe," referring to Samay. Apoorva then said she knew about it. Raftaar further added, “Iski date nahi aayi," implying that Samay’s schedule prevented him from joining The Traitors.

About Samay Raina’s Controversy

India's Got Latent, hosted by Samay Raina, faced significant controversy earlier this year in February. An episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps, Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchlani, was widely criticised for making obscene remarks. Samay, Ranveer, and Apoorva were seen making lewd jokes and comments on parents and sex, due to which the internet denounced them. Consequently, Samay removed all episodes of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel. FIRs were also filed against the three which led them to take a social media hiatus to avoid trolling.
