Sardaar Ji 3 Trailer: The trailer for Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming movie, Sardaar Ji 3 has been unveiled by the makers. To everyone's shock, the Punjabi movie featured Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in significant role. The trailer Sardaar Ji 3 invited tonns of reactions from fans. While many expressed excitement for Diljit Dosanjh returning with the popular comedy franchise, others slammed the actor for working with Pakistani actors. One of the users wrote, "This is shameful." Another user wrote, "Never spoke a word during the war… now we know why… I liked him but the opinion is now changing highly." A third user wrote, "Didn't expect this from you Diljit paaji. You let us down."
Sardaar Ji is one of the popular horror-comedy series in the Punjabi cinema industry. Rohit Jugraj directed the first and the second installment of Sardaar Ji. In 2015, the movie opened at a record-breaking number in Punjabi theaters. Eight years ago in 2016, the second installment of the Punjabi fantasy horror-comedy Sardaarji was released to positive reviews.
Indian viewers cannot the Sardaar Ji 3 trailer on YouTube. Users encounter the following message when they try to play the video - "The uploader has not made this video available in your country." The trailer for Sardaar Ji 3 is not accessible to Indian viewers, maybe because it features Hania Aamir. For the unversed, she made anti-Indian statements when India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, a mission that struck nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) urged Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on June 11 to deny Sardaar Ji 3 certification because it featured Pakistani actors. The cast includes Pakistani actors Daniel Khawar, Saleem Albela, and Nasir Chinyoti in addition to Hania Aamir. In order to avoid more issues, it seems the producers decided to exclusively release the movie abroad and forego a theatrical run in India.
