Sarzameen: Ibrahim Ali Khan is getting ready for the release of his second movie, Sarzameen. The young actor, son of Saif Ali Khan, will be seen playing a leading role in the movie. Ahead of its premiere, Ibrahim took to social media and shared a bunch of never-seen-before photos from the film’s shoot. These pictures gave fans a glimpse into his character prep and the beautiful shoot locations.
Ibrahim posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram with the caption, “9 days to go… #sarzameendiaries.” The post featured a mix of black-and-white photos of him in an Indian Army uniform holding sniper rifles in jungle settings. He also included a few selfies showing his changing hairstyle and beard growth for the role. These photos highlight his physical transformation for what seems to be a very intense character. As per reports, Ibrahim went through several months of training to prepare for the role of a young man caught up in terrorist activities.

Palak Tiwari Reacts On Ibrahim’s Instagram Post
Among the many fan reactions, one comment stood out which was of Ibrahim’s rumoured girlfriend actress Palak Tiwari. She dropped a star emoji, calling him a ‘star’ in her own sweet way. Fans also flooded the comments with messages of encouragement. One user wrote, “May you achieve greater success than all the star kids,” while another said, “Wohoo let’s go!”
Meanwhile, speaking to Mid-Day, director Kayoze Irani opened up about Ibrahim’s journey while preparing for his role. “He has the most complex character in the film. We tried different looks big beard, small beard, long and short hair because I wanted to move away from the ‘chocolate boy’ image. We avoided the typical Pataudi charm and made him look rugged,” he said.
What Sarzameen Movie Is About?
The movie also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Sarzameen tells the story of a father-son relationship set against the tension-filled backdrop of Kashmir. Prithviraj plays Vijay Menon, an army officer fighting terrorism. Ibrahim plays Harman, Vijay’s son, who tragically gets involved in terrorist activities. Kajol takes on the role of Meera, the mother who finds herself torn between her family and national duty. Directed by Kayoze Irani and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Sarzameen is set to release on 25th July 2025 on JioHotstar.
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Work So Far
Ibrahim made his acting debut in the romantic movie Nadaaniyan opposite Khushi Kapoor. Released on Netflix, the film faced a lot of criticism online. Despite that, fans are now hopeful that Sarzameen will show a different side of Ibrahim and give him a fresh start in the industry.
