Actor and politician Thalapathy Vijay has a huge fanbase due to his diverse career choices. From being an actor to fulfilling duties as a politician, the star often grabs attention for various reasons. However, his security has recently become a topic of heated discussion. Thalapathy Vijay is from the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) political party. The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has granted him 'Y' category security, which includes protection from Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. This security detail is in place due to his prominent status as both an actor and politician. Despite having heavy security, a stranger recently trespassed on Vijay’s home, raising concerns regarding the actor’s safety.

A security breach occurred at Vijay’s house on Friday, which caused a wave of panic among his fans. According to a report in Hindu Tamil, an unknown person, named Arun, entered the actor’s house without any permission despite having heavy security at the place. Neelankarai police also stated that the intruder climbed a tree and accessed Vijay’s terrace two nights prior. The actor reportedly discovered the man during a visit to the terrace, escorted him downstairs, and immediately alerted the police.

Following this, a bomb disposal squad was called in to sweep the premises. The intruder, identified as Arun from Madurantakam, was taken into police custody. During questioning, police found out that the 24-year-old was mentally disturbed. He has since been admitted to Kilpauk Government Hospital for treatment. This breach occurred despite the actor-politician's Y-category security, raising questions about protocol effectiveness. Currently, no official statement has been released from the actor’s side.

On the work front, Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in the movie Greatest of All Time in 2024, and impressed viewers with his ever-charming onscreen swag along with a talented cast of Prashanth, Yogi Babu, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, Sneha, and Laila. Reportedly, he has been gearing up for his next project titled Jana Nayagana, which is slated for a 2026 release.
