Her musical romantic drama, a box office sensation - Saiyaara, recently enjoyed a successful run on OTT platforms, further solidifying Aneet Padda's status as a rising Gen-Z star. Her newfound popularity has created a buzz that has not gone unnoticed by the industry. Amid all this, the talented actress has already reportedly signed her next film, a courtroom drama alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur.
Aneet Padda has been making headlines regarding her upcoming project, grabbing everyone’s attention for her next potential role. According to a report in Bollywood Bubble, the actress is expected to play the role of a young survivor in the justice drama. “Aneet Padda will be seen playing a victim, who takes a brave stand against a powerful (godman) spiritual leader who has misbehaved with her. The story follows an intense courtroom drama that will fight against injustice for women. Her character is central to the story and brings emotional depth to the narrative. It aims to highlight themes of justice, power imbalance, and courage,” a source claimed in the report.

Nitya Mehra, known for directing the film Baar Baar Dekho and co-creating the web series Made in Heaven, along with husband Karan Kapadia, directed Aneet Padda in the Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don't Cry. The trio will be reuniting for the upcoming courtroom drama Nyaya. Aneet's previous collaboration with the directorial duo was a success, with her performance in Big Girls Don't Cry being well-received. This project will mark another significant step for Aneet in her post-Saiyaara career.

For the unversed, Aneet Padda debuted in the 2022 movie Salaam Venky before gaining recognition in the 2024 web series Big Girls Don’t Cry. Her career skyrocketed after impressing director Mohit Suri with her audition for Saiyaara, leading to her being cast as the lead opposite Ahaan Pandey in the hit musical drama.
