SRK-Rani Mukerji Dance Video: Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji delighted fans by adding a nostalgic ’90s twist to their recent National Award win. The two actors, who have been among Bollywood’s most loved on-screen pairs, recreated the song Tu Pehli Tu Akhri from Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix series The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The video also reminded fans of SRK and Rani’s rich history of films together, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Chalte Chalte, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Paheli, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. From youthful college romances to mature love stories, their chemistry has always stood out.

Shah Rukh Khan shared the sweet video shared online, in which SRK and Rani are seen romantically dancing to the track, which plays alongside the original version. Shah Rukh captioned the video, “National award hum dono ki adhoori khwahish poori ho gayi yay congratulations Rani, you are a queen and love you always.” The adorable clip has already gone viral, with fans swooning over their effortless chemistry and remembering their classic films together. Meanwhile, the 71st National Film Awards, announced on August 1, 2025, brought major recognition to both stars. Shah Rukh Khan was honoured for his dual-role performance in Jawan, a socially charged action drama directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film, which also starred Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, and Vijay Sethupathi, was both a critical and commercial hit. Additionally, Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her moving role in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. The recreated track, Tu Pehli Tu Akhri, is composed, produced, and arranged by Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Kumaar and sung by Arijit Singh. It is part of Aryan Khan’s debut directorial The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The series stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor, and Rajat Bedi. Aryan Khan is joined by co-creators and writers Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, with production handled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The series is set to stream on Netflix from September 18, 2025.
