Shah Rukh Khan has bagged his first-ever National Award after reigning for 33 years in the industry with his charisma. This marks a milestone for Indian cinema. He won the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards for his performance in the 2023 film Jawan, helmed by director Atlee and produced by his wife, Gauri Khan, along with other producers. Wishes have been pouring in for King Khan from his fans and friends from the industry. He took the moment to respond to everyone on social media, where he caught attention with his humorous request to Gauri. He asked his wife to brag about him at a dinner.

Shah Rukh reacted to Gauri's post for him, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar. Gauri posted a group picture on X along with a note that read, "Three of my absolute favourites just WON big…and so did our hearts. When talent meets goodness, magic happens - So proud, and so ready to brag about them forever!" Being king of wit, SRK responded to her post by stating, "Please brag about me to me when we sit for dinner tonight… thanks for producing the film."

SRK also thanked Jawan director Atlee for his vision. Reacting to Atlee's post on X, the Pathaan actor wrote, "MAAASSS MAAASSS MAASSS…. Thank you for your vision. Only you could do this… In the next song, we will do more steps. Love u…"

After winning the National Award, Shah Rukh shared a video message on Instagram and captioned the post, "Thank you for honouring me with the National Award. Thanks to the jury, the I&B ministry. Iss samman ke liye Bharat Sarkar ka dhanyawaad. Overwhelmed with the love showered upon me. Half a hug to everyone today…."
