Shah Rukh Khan achieved another milestone in his career as the actor was announced the joint winner of the Best Actor award at the 71st National Film Awards on Friday evening. Shah Rukh Khan won the award for his phenomenal portrayal of a dual role in Atlee’s Jawan. This achievement is nothing less than a tribute to his long and successful contributions to the cinema. After receiving the winning title, SRK took to his Instagram and shared a video expressing his love and gratitude towards Atlee, his fans and family members who constantly supported him throughout his journey.

Shah Rukh Khan’s video not only received love and admiration from netizens but also grabbed their attention as the Jawan actor was spotted in a black cast. SRK’s casual look in a black polo t-shirt, black trousers and a grey beanie got highlighted because of his black cast. In the video, the actor mentioned his injury and said, “I would love to spread my arms and share my love, but I am a bit indisposed. But don’t worry! Just keep the popcorn ready. His video not only gained love from the fans, but some of his well-wishers also commented ‘get well soon’ for their hero. A user wrote, “Stay blessed take good care of yourself and your arm.” Another person wrote, “Take care of your health & get well soon.”

Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with Siddharth Anand’s action thriller ‘King.’ Reportedly, the romance king of Bollywood suffered an injury while shooting an action sequence on the sets of King. According to a report in Hindustan Times, a source claimed, “He was shooting in Mumbai when he was injured. The exact details of the injury are being held under wraps at the moment. It is more of a muscular injury and nothing serious. That being said, it is not being taken lightly.”

Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan’s shooting schedules for July and August have been cancelled due to his injury. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, his daughter Suhana Khan will also grace the screen with many veteran actors like Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Jaideep Ahlawat.
