Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) is one of the cult classic films in Indian cinema, directed by Aditya Chopra. The 1995 movie is being adapted into a stage musical drama, Come Fall in Love The DDLJ Musical. Raj aka SRK paid a surprise visit to the rehearsal room of the upcoming drama in London and posed with the team.

In the pictures shared by the Come Fall In Love team on X handle Shah Rukh can be seen dressed in a white t-shirt and denims, happily posing with the musical drama's lead cast Jena Pandya and Ashley Day. He was also joined by the entire team in other photos. The musical drama post read, "When Raj of DDLJ met Rog & Simran of #ComeFallInLove! On meeting King Khan, Ashley Day, who plays Roger, a role of Shah Rukh’s Raj, shared his excitement in a statement. He said, “When he arrived in our rehearsal room and met the full company, it was a moment that quietly landed on all of us, special in a way that didn’t need words. Watching everyone take him in, I could feel how meaningful it was. He greeted us all with such love and genuine excitement about what we’ve been building. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to see a project beloved by millions being reimagined as a musical 30 years later. And yet, he kept asking to see more! The words we shared privately are for one Raj to another Rog—but I will say, he was very happy. It was an unbelievable afternoon. I’ll never forget it.”
Jena Pandya, the lead actress of the musical, playing Simran, a role originally played by Kajol in the cult movie, added, "Meeting SRK and having him in the rehearsal room was such an honour. He was so generous with his time and support for the show. Being able to show him some of the iconic scenes that he and Kajol originally established was an incredible feeling and will be a long-lasting memory for me. I can’t wait to head to Manchester next week and put this story on stage!”
About Come Fall in Love DDLJ Musical- The musical comedy drama, which is based on the Bollywood hit Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, is being directed by Aditya Chopra. Come Fall in Love is going to make its UK premiere this month at the Manchester Opera House on May 29 and run until June 21.
Adding their musical magic, Vishal and Sheykhar are composing English songs for the stage adaptation, The musical drama also stars Irvine Iqbal, Kara Lane, Harveen Mann-Neary, Amonik Melaco, Millie O’Connel, Ankur Sabharwal, Kinshuk Sen and Russel Wilcox.
