Shararat is one the most-loved Indian fantasy sitcoms which aired on StarPlus channel from 2003 to 2006. The show's lead cast members- Farida Jalal, Simple Kaul and Shruti Seth reunited at latter's house in Mumbai. Simple even shared the glimpses from their meet-up on social media, which has now sparked buzz about the possible sequel to the popular sitcom.
The first two photos captured Farida Jalal, Shruti Seth and Simple Kaul sitting together on a couch, smiling and posing for the camera, while Shruti and Simple also snapped a selfie. Dipannita Sharma and Shiv Panditt later joined the trio for more pictures. In a video, Simple, seated next to Farida, playfully remarked, "All those who couldn’t make it, too bad. We are chilling."
Farida said, "We are going to make Shararat Part 2. Interested?" Simple then gave her a surprised look, Farida gestured that she is teasing. The veteran actor said, "Might just happen. Sharing photos and videos, Simple Kaul wrote on Instagram, "Each year you call us for lunch on Ganesh Chaturthi @shru2kill . I hv been coming here since shararat days . I look forward to the lovely lunch , meeting with the same bunch of people over the years . It’s actually become a ritual to start the Ganpati festival from your home . I always look forward to meet Faridaji and everyone else . Your mom dad hv always been such good hosts Shruts there’s so much abundance and joy always here."
Shararat – Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat (transl. Mischief – A Little Magic, A Little Fun) is an Indian fantasy sitcom that aired on StarPlus from 2003 to 2006. The series was loosely inspired by the American teen sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
