Raj Nidimoru Marries Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot on December 1, 2025 in a traditional Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. While the wedding attracted plenty of attention online, another person who drew equal curiosity was Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De, who shared a series of subtle yet noticeable social media updates after the ceremony. On December 2, a day after Raj and Samantha’s wedding photos went public, Shhyamali posted an image of the Milky Way galaxy on Instagram. 

Pointing to a tiny spot on the vast expanse, Shhyamali De wrote, “We live here.” The simple line, paired with the cosmic picture, seemed to hint at the insignificance of personal conflicts when viewed from a larger perspective. It was her first update since the couple’s marriage. This came shortly after another cryptic message she had shared earlier, which read, “Desperate people do desperate things.” The line quickly caused speculation among social media users, leading many to wonder who or what the statement referred to. Shhyamali has been known to post indirect remarks in the past, especially since Raj and Samantha’s relationship became public.

In the days before the wedding, Shhyamali had also shared a reflective Sanskrit verse from the Padma Purana, discussing karmic bonds and how relationships end once past debts are settled. She explained that human connections, whether with a spouse, family, or home exist because of past karmic ties, and fade once those ties are resolved.

Raj Nidimoru-Samantha Ruth Prabhu Relationship

Meanwhile, Raj and Samantha’s relationship has been in the spotlight for a while. The two first met while working on Citadel: Honey Bunny, after previously collaborating on The Family Man 2. They reportedly began dating quietly before becoming more open about their relationship earlier this year. There were even rumours that they got engaged in February 2025, something fans suspected when Samantha was spotted wearing a striking ring since mid-February. Both Raj and Samantha have moved on from their previous marriages. Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021. Chaitanya later married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024. Raj, on the other hand, married Shhyamali in 2015, and the two reportedly separated in 2022–23.
