Sitaare Zameen Par is a heartwarming drama that addresses significant topics while still being enjoyable and emotionally impactful, much like its predecessor. This time, the emphasis is on neurodivergent kids, whose struggles and victories are told through a sports drama, which resonates with viewers.
Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit, and Ravi Bhagchandka produced Sitaare Zameen Par, which was directed by RS Prasanna and is regarded as the spiritual sequel to Aamir's 2007 blockbuster Taare Zameen Par. The sports dramedy centers on Gulshan (Aamir Khan), who trains ten neurodivergent adults to recover their latent potential and sense of self as part of his community service.
Brijendra Kala, Dolly Ahluwalia, Genelia Deshmukh, and a number of up-and-coming actors play the neurodivergent characters in the movie with heart and honesty.
