Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection Day : Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, had a successful opening weekend at the box office. The heartfelt sports drama easily surpassed the Rs 59 crore net threshold in India alone. The spiritual sequel of 2007 movie is in a strong position to carry on its winning streak during the week after a strong opening weekend. Sitaare Zameen Par might surpass significant milestones if current trends continue by the end of first week.

Sitaare Zameen Par took in Rs 29 crore on Sunday, bringing its total collection to Rs 59.90 crore net in India, according to the trade website Sacnilk. On Saturday, the movie recorded a huge 88.79% increase in revenue, earning Rs 20.2 crore after a shaky start of Rs 10.7 crore on opening day. Additionally, it recorded a Hindi occupancy rate of 50.70% on Sunday, with the numbers increasing throughout the day.
