Directed by the popular filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, known for hit movies like Pokiri and Businessman, the film marks his very first collaboration with Sethupathi. The footage offers audiences an exciting glimpse into a dark cinematic world filled with intense action, high mystery, and deep emotion.

The main talking point of the promotional footage is the central mystery surrounding Vijay Sethupathi's character, as viewers are left wondering whether the protagonist is genuinely blind or if he is hiding his true identity.

The teaser highlights a powerful screen presence from Vijay Sethupathi, who effortlessly balances extreme vulnerability with intense heroism. The project features an impressive ensemble cast from different film industries. Actress Samyuktha stars as the main female lead, while the legendary Bollywood actress Tabu makes a striking appearance in the role of a police officer.
The main antagonist is played by Kannada star Duniya Vijay, who looks incredibly menacing in his role. The short clip also offers brief glimpses of veteran supporting actors Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh. On the technical side, cinematographer Sam K Naidu provides a gritty, realistic visual texture to the scenes. The pulsating background score is composed by National Award-winner Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who previously worked on mega hits like Animal and Kabir Singh.

The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla's JB Motion Pictures. The makers have officially confirmed that the main shooting schedule is fully completed. The project is currently in its final stages of post-production across all language formats.
SlumDog: 33 Temple Road is planned for a grand, wide theatrical release in five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. While the action movie is expected to hit the big screens later this month, an official worldwide release date is yet to be announced by the producers.
