Son of Sardaar 2 Release Date: Son of Sardaar 2 is all set for its release. The film stars Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. Son of Sardaar 2 is being directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Devgn Films. On Thursday, Devgn took to his Instagram handle and shared the release details of the upcoming movie.

Ajay Devgn shared on his Instagram handle, "The Return of the Sardaar #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July.#SardaarIsBack #SonOfSardaar2." According to the announcement, Son of Sardaar 2 will release in theatres on July 25, 2025. He shared a poster featuring himself in a turban. Ajay looked dapper in a leather jacket paired with black pants and matching boots. He could be seen sporting a mustard-coloured turban. In the poster, Devgn is seen standing on tankers while holding his moustache. The tagline of the poster read, "The return Of Sardaar." Take a look:
Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 is an upcoming action-comedy movie that promises to deliver a fresh storyline filled with action, comedy and heartwarming drama. The film has been directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. It marks the return of Ajay Devgnut's iconic role as Jassi, with Mrunal Thakur starring opposite him as the Punjabi lead.
The film's cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Chunky Panday, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra and Kubbra Sait. Initially, Sanjay Dutt faced visa issues that might have affected his shooting schedule in the UK. On the other hand, Vijay Raaz was reportedly replaced by Sanjay Mishra after an altercation with the director, according to reports.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Sanjay Mishra said, "I am done filming for 'Son of Sardaar 2'. All of this is a part of the business, to be very honest. I did the film because I got a call from Ajay Devgn. One call from him and that's all it takes for me to say yes to him. He's a close friend and has been there for me in tough times. Not just that, replacing Vijay wasn't easy."

The film's teaser is set to release on June 24, 2025. The movie's plot is expected to explore a dramatic gang war between Bihari and Punjabi dons, adding a new layer to the beloved franchise. Fans are eagerly awaiting the teaser, certified 'UA 13+' by the CBFC, with a runtime of 1 minute and 50 seconds, hinting at an action-packed preview.
