The first trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day has finally been released on March 18, 2026, bringing back Tom Holland as the beloved superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film marks Spider-Man/ Peter Parker’s return after a long gap since Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). With fresh faces, returning characters and a new director, the upcoming instalment has already created strong excitement among Marvel fans worldwide.

The newly released trailer gave fans their first look at Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Spider-Man/Peter Parker. Fans have been awaiting the return of the character since the ending of the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was released in 2021. The trailer gave fans a glimpse of the action, drama, and the new journey that Spider-Man would be taking, suggesting that the character would be taking a new path.

New Director And Creative Team
This time, the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for his work on Shang-Chi. This makes him the first director in the series after Jon Watts, who handled the earlier trilogy. Writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers have returned to script the story, maintaining continuity with the previous films.
Spider-Man Brand New Day Casts Adds New And Familiar Faces
The movie features several major characters from the Marvel universe. Jon Bernthal will appear as the Punisher, marking his first role in a Marvel Studios film.
Mark Ruffalo is back as Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk. Meanwhile, Michael Mando will reprise his role as Mac Gargan, also called Scorpion. Additionally, Sadie Sink is set to make her MCU debut, adding fresh energy to the cast.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Production And Release Timeline
The shooting of Spider-Man: Brand New Day was completed in December 2025. It is expected that this film is going to play an important role in the overall storyline of the MCU. It is reported that this film is going to be the last solo superhero film in the 6th phase of the MCU. After that, Marvel Studios is going to concentrate on other bigger projects, such as Doomsday Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
In the trailer itself, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is announced to be released in theatres on 31st July 2026 in premium formats.
