Janhvi Kapoor recalls watching her mother, the renowned Sridevi, giggle uncontrollably at Govinda's comedy long before she made her film debut. The actor talked warmly about her mother's admiration for the 90s comedy legend as she prepares for the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra.
Sridevi liked to watch a lot of Govinda's movies, and Janhvi Kapoor emphasised that she would laugh and enjoy herself whenever any of his flicks were aired on TV. Janhvi Kapoor shared, "Mom used to love his physical comedy and his timing. Every time a Govinda movie came on TV, she would giggle like a child. Honestly, I feel she carried that same comic rhythm in her performances too."
Aunty No. 1, Beti No. 1, Ankhiyao Se Goli Mare, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Kyo Kii...Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, and the legendary Coolie No. 1 were among Govinda's smash hits, which made him successful. In addition to being vital in maintaining Govinda's career, these films were enthusiastically received by audiences and helped establish him as a fan favorite.
Sridevi's Movies And Personal Life
Sridevi swiftly rose to fame throughout India after starting her acting career as a child in South Indian movies. Throughout her five-decade career, Sridevi starred in a number of movies, including Mom, English Vinglish, Lamhe, Chandni, Sadma, and Mr. India.
The renowned actor was married to film producer Boney Kapoor in her private life. They have two kids - Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Unfortunatly, Sridevi drowned in her hotel bathtub by accident on February 24, 2018, tragically dying in Dubai. Fans have yet to move past her untimely demise, which stunned the entire film business.
