SS Rajamouli, known for his masterpieces like Baahubali and RRR, is redefining his boundaries by being part of international projects including video games. He is all set to come up with SSMB29. The filmmaker, who has captivated Telugu cinema with his work, made a cameo in a video game by popular Japanese creator, Hideo Kojima. Not only him, but his son, Karthikeya featured in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The video of the father-son duo from their upcoming project together is going viral on social media, leaving fans excited.

The unexpected crossover of Indian and Japanese gaming has created buzz among the audiences, who can't believe their eyes after seeing SS Rajamouli in the video game.

The game is slated to be launched on June 26 on PlayStation 5. Ahead of the release, fans got early access, and some players noticed Rajamouli as The Adventurer and Karthikeya as the Adventurer's son in the game. Soon after the pictures and videos from the game surfaced online.

Another X user commented, "Just when you think you've seen it all... @HIDEO_KOJIMA_ENdrops a surprise, @SSRajamouli(The Adventurer) and @ssk1122 (Adventurer's Son) in the #DeathStranding2 universe."

In April this year, Kojima had a virtual meeting with Rajamouli and Karthikeya. He shared the post on his X handle, which was re-shared by Karthikeya along with a caption, "Beyond excited for this."

As per several reports, Rajamouli and Kojima have been in talks since 2022 after their meeting during the promotion of RRR in Japan. Earlier, the filmmaker also experienced a special 360-degree set-up at Kojima's Studio.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach also features Hollywood actors Norman Reedus, Elle Fanning and Lea Seydoux.
