SS Rajamouli’s upcoming directorial with Mahesh Babu in the lead role, tentatively titled SSMB29, has been creating buzz for several months for significant reasons. Reports about Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s involvement in the film have been surfacing online. Now, Mahesh Babu has confirmed Priyanka's casting in SSMB29 during a playful conversation with Rajamouli on a social media platform. The actress' comment on the post has further fueled excitement among fans. During this exchange, the director also hinted at a major reveal set to happen this month.

On Saturday. Mahesh Babu took to X and wrote, “It’s November already @ssrajamouli," reminding him of the big reveal. Rajamouli replied in his regional language, Telugu: “yess… ye cinemaalaki review iddaam anukuntunnaavu ee month?" (Yes… you’re expecting a review for this film this month?)". Continuing his fun banter, the actor responded, "Your ‘forever in making’ Mahabharatha, Sir…First things first, You promised us something in November. Please keep up your word."

In response, the filmmaker assured that, "It has just started Mahesh. We’ll slowly reveal one by one."

The confirmation of Priyanka's involvement in the film. Mahesh posted, "Fyi, our Desi girl has been posting every street of Hyderabad on her Insta stories since January @priyankachopra." Priyanka joined the conversation, saying, "Helloooo!! hero!!! You want me to leak all the stories you share with me on set? Mind lo fix aithe blind ga esestha.."

Rajamouli playfully called out Mahesh Babu for spoiling his surprise. He wrote, "Why did you reveal PC urstrulyMahesh … You ruined the surprise."

Mahesh didn't stop there. He further revealed Prithviraj Sukumaran’s involvement, asking if his casting was also meant to be a secret. Prithviraj also joined in and quipped, “Sir ssrajamouli, I’m running out of alibis for these Hyderabad “vacations." If I keep this up any longer, my family will start doubting me."

This fun banter and unexpected casting reveal of SSMB29 left fans thrilled after months of speculation surrounding the film's lineup.

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli also teased fans about a special reveal on November 2. The filmmaker agreed but threatened Mahesh, saying his first look would be delayed as a ‘penalty for excess sarcasm.’
