Suniel Shetty has wished his Hera Pheri co-star Paresh Rawal a ‘Happy Birthday’. Shetty took to his X account and called Rawal a “wonderful human”. He wrote, “To the man… Who is a powerhouse of both Wit & Wisdom and an even more wonderful human being. Happy happy birthday Pareshji. Much love and respect always. @SirPareshRawal.” This comes days after Paresh Rawal’s controversial exit from Hera Pheri 3.

Paresh Rawal’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 has been the talk of town with fans confused about what went wrong. According to reports, the actor left due to creative differences. But, later, Rawal took to his official X account and released a statement, confirming his exit. “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan, the film director,” he wrote.

Reacting to this, Suniel Shetty said in a conversation with The Lallantop, “It’s a shocker! We recently shot the promo for Hera Pheri 3, and it felt just like old times. The understanding, the rhythm between us three — Akshay, Paresh, and me — was still intact. I’m in a state of shock.”

“I just read that Paresh ji isn’t doing the film. I haven’t even spoken to him yet because I’ve been out of Mumbai. I plan to meet him after the 23rd and understand what went wrong. Everything was on track till now. No one can play Raju like Akshay. No one can be Shyam other than me. And let’s be honest — Babu Bhaiya is irreplaceable. Without Paresh ji, the soul of the film is missing,” he added.

It is pertinent to note that Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films, has sent a legal notice demanding Rs 25 crore in damages due to Paresh Rawal's abrupt exit from a project.

Recently, during the trailer launch of Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar opened up on the ongoing controversy. He said, "I’ve worked with him since the last 30 years. 32 saal see unke saath kaam karte aya hoon. We are very good friends. He is a great actor. I really admire him. I don’t think this is a place where I am going to talk about it. Because whatever has to happen — it is a very serious matter — it is a matter which is going to be handled by the court. I don’t think I’m going to speak about it here."
