Sunjay Kapur, who was previously married to Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, died on June 12. According to reports, the 53-year-old businessman and socialite had a heart attack a few hours after a shocking occurrence wherein he swallowed a bee by accident while playing polo.

Sunjay Kapur, who had long moved on since his publicised marriage to Karisma Kapoor, tied the knot for the third time with Priya Sachdev. In his latter years, he created a family and a more peaceful life existence with model and actress wife who had previously been married to hotelier Vikram Chatwal.

For the unversed, Priya Sachdev is a model from Delhi who is well-known in affluent social circles married the late businessman in 2017. Later, the couple welcomed their son, Azarias, and began a new chapter in their lives. She frequently used social media to drop glimpses from their marital life. Now, one of her posts from their most recent anniversary caught attention.

Priya Sachdev's caption on the post read, "Happy Anniversary my Handsome Husband, love you unconditionally...I always knew you could run, but together we fly ! With you life has been filled with laughter, happiness, excitement, adventure and madness! You complete me my better half...thank for always being there for me and most importantly for us! According to reports, legal procedures related to his US citizenship are causing delays in his final rites. According to Ashok Sachdev, Sunjay's father-in-law, Sunjay's remains would be sent to India for his final ceremonies after the necessary paperwork is completed, he informed NDTV.
