Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Box Office Collection Day 7: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s latest film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is going through a tough run at the box office. The romantic comedy, which also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, opened to mixed reviews and struggled to maintain steady momentum throughout its first week. Despite being one of the most anticipated releases from Dharma Productions, the film has failed to live up to expectations, facing strong competition from Kantara: Chapter 1.

According to reports from Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 2.08 crore on its seventh day, marking its lowest single-day collection so far. With this, the total box office collection stands at Rs 38.58 crore. Although the film had a decent start on Day 1 with Rs 9.25 crore, its numbers gradually dropped in the following days. Day 2 brought in Rs 5.5 crore, while over the weekend, it showed a slight rise, collecting Rs 7.5 crore on Day 3 and Rs 7.75 crore on Day 4. However, the weekday performance has been disappointing, and the drop from Monday onwards has been steep.

Trade experts suggest that the film’s slow performance can be attributed to its clash with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1, which continues to dominate cinemas across the country. The Kannada action-drama has emerged as a massive blockbuster, overshadowing several other releases, including Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Released on October 2, the Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor starrer has not managed to attract large audiences despite its light-hearted premise and star-studded cast. The first week’s figures indicate that the film might struggle to reach the RS 50 crore mark unless the second weekend brings a surprising turnaround.
