Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Controversy: Former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, best known for playing Mrs Roshan Sodhi, has once again made headlines with fresh allegations. Previously, she had accused producer Asit Modi of sexual harassment and raised issues about payment disputes. Now, she has spoken about an alleged altercation between Joshi and the show’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi.

Speaking to Filmygyan, Jennifer claimed, "Jo Hong Kong me bahut kharab ladai hui thi. Pure public ke beech me jam ke chilla-chilla ke ladai hui thi. Dilip ji ne Asit ji ke collar pakad li thi. Bahut garma-garmi ho gayi thi. Ek time to extreme ho gaya tha. Matlab sab pareshan ho gaye the ke bhai tum producer ho, tum baar-baar kya jaate? To Dilip ji aur Asit ji ki isi cheez par bahas ho gayi thi." Her statement suggested there was a heated argument in public, with Joshi allegedly grabbing Modi’s collar during the incident. Both Joshi and Modi have previously dismissed such claims as “baseless rumours.”

Meanwhile, Dilip Joshi, who plays the popular character Jethalal Champaklal Gada, had earlier responded to similar reports of a dispute with Modi. Speaking to Times Now, Joshi said the claims were “completely untrue” and that “people are just jealous of the show’s continued success.” He added, “I just want to clear the air about all these rumours going around. There have been some stories in the media about me and Asit Bhai that are completely false, and it really saddens me to see such things being said. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a show that means so much to me and millions of fans, and when people spread baseless rumours it hurts not only us but also our loyal viewers.”

On the other hand, in an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Jennifer spoke about her long-standing issues with producer Asit Kumarr Modi. She accused him of making inappropriate advances disguised as jokes. She recalled a 2018 incident where, after being verbally abused by the show’s operations head, Sohail Ramani, she approached Modi for help. Instead of offering support, she claims he behaved inappropriately. Jennifer said, "Asit ji ke pass gayi unse baat karne Sohail se related toh sab chod ke voh muje bol rahe hai ki 'Sexy lag rahi ho’... Unhone voh phone call mei muje bohot si chizein boli. Baat kuch aur chal rahi hai…Tum kya roo rahi ho. Tum yaha hoti mai tumko hug karta. Mai chance leta. Tumko toh meri padi hi nahi hai."
