Tamil Movie Releases This Week (June 15 - June 20): The box office is set for a major celebration as some of the biggest Tamil movies will lead this week. From Dhanush's eagerly awaited Kuberaa to Nimisha Sajayan's crime thriller movie DNA and also Atulya Ravi’s much anticipated Chennai City Gangsters.

In addition to these, the much-anticipated Tamil dubbed versions of the animated science fiction movie Elio is also slated for release. Movie enthusiasts have a lot to anticipate this week. For fans of Tamil cinema, whether crime thrillers or comedies, three highly anticipated releases are set to hit screens this week.

Kuberaa

Kuberaa is a major pan-India release, which stars Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna in key roles. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and is expected to be one of the biggest cinematic releases of the season. With a runtime of 181 minutes, the Telugu movie is slated for worldwide theatrical release on June 20.

DNA

DNA features a strong cast led by Atharvaa Murali and Nimisha Sajayan. Nelson Venkatesan, who previously directed acclaimed movies like Monster and Farhana, takes the helm once again with this intriguing project. The Tamil movie is produced by Olympia Movies. The chemistry between the lead actors and the intensity of their performances add depth to the movie, suggesting a powerful on-screen narrative. DNA is set to hit theatres on June 20, and with its gripping narrative, stellar performances, and Nelson's assured direction, it promises to be one of the most anticipated Tamil releases of the year.

Chennai City Gangsters

Chennai City Gangsters is an upcoming comedy heist movie. The film, directed by the duo Vikram Rajeshwar and Arun Keshav, features the story of two men who accidentally lose money they had for safekeeping. As they are desperate to return the money, they meet with four eccentric cons, leading them down a spiral of hilarious moments for a bank robbery. With Vaibhav in the lead, the Tamil movie also features Athulya Ravi, Manikandan Rajesh, Anandaraj, Livingston, Rajendran, and more in key roles.
