Tanishaa Mukerji’s family ties have always been a hot topic for gossip mongers. The actress who made waves, especially with her movie Neal ‘n’ Nikki had shared a turbulent past with her sister Kajol. The duo has often been vocal about their sibling rivalries and openly mentioned how being in the same industry affected their bond. Nonetheless, after going through several rifts, the sisters have always found a way to come back stronger from their disagreements. Tanishaa and Kajol are often spotted together with their mother and veteran actress Tanuja, to exude a strong appearance as a mother-daughter trio.
Tanishaa Mukerji recently got candid during an interview with Pinkvilla and revealed that, according to her, Kjaol is the best mother in the world. The actress opened up about Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s son Yug, and shared, “He is a very well brought-up boy, and I give it all to my sister. Mai toh biased hu toh mai Ajay (Ajay Devgn) ko koi credit nahi dungi (I’m biased, so I won’t give any credit to Ajay). All credit to my sister.”
Tanishaa further praised the ‘Maa’ actress and said, “She is an outstanding mother. She is the best mother in the world. I know because I felt it. She was my mother a lot of the time.” Reflecting on the bond between aunts and their teenage nieces and nephews, she expressed that they are not cool for the teenagers, and they would have to accept this fact.
She added, “Maybe after 35, they’ll start calling me again, giving hugs, and wanting to be around me. For now, for the next 15-20 years, forget it. I’ve forgotten; all my nieces and nephews have become teenagers. It’s very scary.”
Further, during the interview, the actress also opened up about her personal life and discussed her much-talked-about breakup. Tanishaa Mukerji was in a brief relationship with actor Armaan Kohli after the duo met on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss, but soon broke up due to unavoidable reasons. But Tanishaa revealed during the interview that this was not her most difficult heartbreak. Instead, she expressed that parting ways with her old friend and ex-boyfriend, Uday Chopra was far more difficult.
