Tanishaa Mukerji’s personal life has been the talk of the town for several years, like her film choices. The actress recently opened up about her most difficult breakup and it was not Armaan Kohli, whom she dated on the popular show Bigg Boss 7. Tanishaa admitted that she was more heartbroken after her breakup with actor Uday Chopra. The actress explains the reason about her equation with the actor. She stated that the split with Armaan was not as effective as that with Uday Chopra.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Tanishaa Mukerji said, “Woh itna heartbreak nahi tha (It wasn’t that big a heartbreak). I was more heartbroken when my relationship with Uday ended. We were friends, we were very close, and we had known each other for a long time.”

Despite heartbreaks in the past, Tanishaa is quite optimistic about love. She added, “I’m the kind of person who always looks at the bright side of things… Whatever happens, happens for the good. I enjoy the feeling of falling in love and I cherish the experiences it bring.”

Tanishaa Mukerji also revealed that her strongest pillar is veteran actress Tanuja. She shared that when it comes to navigating showbiz, she avoids asking friends for guidance. Few people outside the industry, she believes truly understand the challenges it brings.

Tanishaa Mukerji made her Bollywood debut with the 2003 film Sssshhh. She has been part of many movies like Neal 'n' Nikki, Kantri, Tango Charlie, One Two Three, Sarkar, Code Name Abdul and Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao to name a few.

The actress was last seen in Luv You Shankar. The film was released in theatres in 2024. It also featured Sanjay Mishra, Shreyas Talpade, Abhimanyu Singh, Hemant Pandey and Kurush Deboo in key roles.

Tanishaa will be next seen in the Marathi movie Veer Murarbaji. The film also stars Ankit Mohan, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Prajakta Gaikwad, Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia, Sudesh Berry, Santosh Juvekar and Harish Dudhade in pivotal roles. The movie has been directed by Ajay Arekar, Ajay Devgn and Aniruddha Arekar. The release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
