Tanvi The Great Box Office Collection Day 1: Shubhangi Dutt and Anupam Kher starrer Hindi drama movie released in theatres on July 18. The film received good reviews from the audience but could not create the magic as it had a massive box office clash with Saiyaara. Tanvi the Great started off on a slow note, earning in lakhs on the day of release. The movie has to buckle up to remain in the race of box office game along with other movie releases. Some of the big films like Son Of Sardaar 2 are set to arrive next Friday. Before that, Tanvi The Great has to bring good numbers.

As per Sacnilk, Tanvi The Great earned Rs 0.40 crore on Day 1. The film had an overall 14.41 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. It had 13.29 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 7.93 per cent in the afternoon shows, 11.93 per cent in the evening shows and 24.47 per cent in the night shows.

Tanvi The Great Budget

As per reports, the film is estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 50 crore.

About Tanvi The Great

The film is about a 21-year-old autistic girl who lives with her mother and grandfather. She takes inspiration from her deceased father, Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army officer who dreamed of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier. Tanvi decides to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the army to fulfil his dreams. Tanvi The Great features Anupam Kher, Shubhangi Dutt, Iain Glen, Karan Tacker, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy and Nassar in key roles. It has been directed and backed by Anupam Kher himself under the production company National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC). The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
