Thamma Box Collection Day 2: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer romantic comedy horror movie, opened with mixed reviews from the audience and critics on October 21. The film started off with great numbers, earning Rs 24 crore. On its second day, Thamma saw a slight drop in its collection, but it is certainly unaffected by the weekdays and several box office clashes like Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, Kantara Chapter 1 and more. The movie is now marching toward the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. Seeing the current pace, the film is expected to achieve the milestone in just three days.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 18 crore. The net collection of Thamma stands at Rs 42 crore. The film had an overall 25.97 per cent Hindi occupancy on Wednesday. It had 10.21 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 29.47 per cent in the afternoon shows, 31.96 per cent in the evening shows and 32.25 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the film has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 145 crore.
Plot Overview Of Thamma
The movie focuses on two destined lovers, who battle supernatural forces, family ties and nature itself to defend their forbidden romance in a mystical world. The ancient powers and prophecies threaten to keep them apart.
Thamma features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Sapthami Gowda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Shardul Rana, Faisal Malik and Vinay Pathak in significant roles. The movie has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Amar Kaushik, Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
