The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 13: The Bengal Files, which centers on the riots in Noakhali, is destined to fail at the box office. With Rs 1.35 crore, the political drama made its premiere. After a respectable increase over the weekend, it continued to rise steadily over the first week, ending at Rs 9.65 crore net. In the second weekend, the Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri-directed film brought in an additional Rs 2.85 crore. On the second Monday after its steep decline, it brought in Rs 39 lakh. On the second Tuesday when movie theaters subsidized ticket rates, the film didn't even demonstrate any growth. At the Indian box office, The Bengal Files has made a total of Rs 15.39 crore.

The Bengal Files faced competition from Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 and The Conjuring: Last Rites at the box office. The Hollywood horror franchise beat the other two movies at the box office. Despite positive word of mouth, Vivek Agnihotri's political drama has failed to leave a mark at the ticket booths. The box office failure is also the result of few screenings in theatres.

The Bengal Files tells the tale of Shiva Pandit, played by Darshan Kumar, a CBI officer who is looking into the kidnapping of a girl in West Bengal. The history of Noakhali violence and his understanding of communal politics connect India's past, present, and future.

Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri co-produced The Bengal Files, which was written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film was released in theaters on September 5th and starred Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Simrat Kaur, Namashi Chakraborty, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and others. It is a part of Agnihotri's Files trilogy, which also includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files, and is presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal and I Am Buddha Productions.

The Bengal Files' box office performance will determine how far it can go from here because it will face off against Jolly LLB 3 (starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi) and Nishaanchi (directed Anurag Kashyap) in the third weekend.
