The Taj Story Teaser OUT: Paresh Rawal is all set to take centre stage in The Taj Story, a hard-hitting social drama that is already sparking discussion. The film will release nationwide and tackles one of the most provocative questions of our time, “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still slaves of intellectual terrorism?” The teaser, released just a day before Independence Day, has already caught public attention.
The Taj Story is built around a centuries-old debate who really built the Taj Mahal? Was it Emperor Shah Jahan, as we’ve always read in history books, or is there another truth hidden in the past? This controversial question has been at the centre of discussions for decades, often fuelled by alternative theories. The Taj Story sets out to explore this debate while also delving into bigger ideas about freedom, identity, and the importance of questioning the accepted version of history. The movie is slated to hit theatres on 31st October 2025.

Meanwhile, the teaser shows Paresh Rawal in a courtroom, delivering a powerful argument about the intellectual wipeout of a community. The short clip captures the intensity of the film’s message and hints at its willingness to embrace controversy. Far from being just a period or historical drama, the film is described as a cinematic debate, one that invites the audience to reflect on who shapes history and why.
The Taj Story Cast And Creative Team
Alongside Paresh Rawal, the film features an ensemble cast including Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das. It is written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel, with Vikas Radhesham serving as Creative Producer. The film is produced by Swarnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd. and CA Suresh Jha, while music is composed by Rohit Sharma. The Taj Story is designed to make viewers think about the stories they’ve been told, the facts they’ve been taught, and the forces that control those narratives. By raising doubts about a universally accepted historical fact, the film pushes its audience to consider whether history is always objective or if it can be influenced by politics, power, and ideology.
Paresh Rawal’s Other Work
Earlier this year, Paresh Rawal spoke about his deeply emotional experience while playing a spiritual guru in Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi. In that film, he portrayed a mentor guiding a rebellious young man, Ajay (played by Anantvijay Joshi), through a transformative journey to become a leader and a Yogi. Rawal described the role as one that went beyond acting, touching him on a personal and profound level.
