Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is getting closer to its much awaited theatrical debut on March 19, 2026, and its creators are still revealing more details about its eerie, immersive universe. The team has now released an eye-catching new poster that features Nayanthara as Ganga, adding to the growing anticipation. At first glance, Nayanthara appeared to be a defining force in Yash's most ambitious effort to date. She is sexy, deadly and formidable.

Nayanthara's depiction of Ganga exudes a boldness and is visually stunning. She wields a gun with a practiced authority that feels both elegant and dangerous, commanding the frame with an impressive level of composure. The extravagant, high-stakes scene, which is set against the splendor of a big casino entryway, presents Ganga as a woman who controls the space and makes her own decisions.

Nayanthara enters a darker realm with Toxic, which highlights her natural presence and reveals a startlingly different side of herself. "Introducing Nayanthara as GANGA in - A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups," wrote Yash while unveiling her character on social media in the movie.

Nayanthara's fans and admirers rushed to the comment section to laud her sexy look for the movie. Many dropped hearts and heart-eye emojis along with fire emoticons. Speaking about casting Nayanthara as Ganga, director Geetu Mohandas said, "We all know Nayan as a celebrated star with a commanding screen presence, and a remarkable career spanning two decades but in Toxic, audiences will witness a talent that had been quietly waiting to explode. I wanted to portray Nayan in a way that she’s never been showcased before. But as the shoot progressed I began to see how closely her own personality echoed the soul of the character. It wasn’t imitation, it was alignment.The depth, the honesty, the restraint, and the emotional clarity she brought were not performances layered on top of the character,they were qualities she already possessed. I found my Ganga, so brilliantly performed by her, and even more unexpectedly, I found a dear friend."

Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Up

Yash makes a comeback to the big screen in Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups after redefining box office history with KGF: Chapter 2. Earlier, Kiara Advani's reveal as Nadia, an ethereal yet melancholic character whose grace and beauty hardly mask the wounds, set off a firestorm of anticipation. Huma Qureshi's spectacular unveiling as the mysterious Elizabeth enhanced the mystery and captivated viewers with her unprecedented Gothic, old-world splendor after Kiara.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, which was written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, has been filmed concurrently in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions scheduled in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages.The movie boasts a formidable technical team, including National Award winner Rajeev Ravi as cinematographer, Ravi Basrur on music, Ujwal Kulkarni on editing, and TP Abid as production designer.
